It’s finally warm in the UK, spring is giving way to summer, apart from the past couple of days which were more like November! My summer dresses are out, and I want some bright, pretty nails to go with them! I had my eyes on plenty of summer polishes in yesterday’s best of nail polish post, so Picture Polish Orchid is perfect for right now.

This bright, slightly magenta-leaning purple is packed with little sparkly, holographic flakes.  The polish base is a bit jelly-like, which helps the flakes to peek through.  But despite this, it covers really nicely in two coats.

I always find that jelly polishes clean up really easily and rarely stain, and Orchid is no exception.  No purple cuticles with this one!

This comes highly recommended by me – great colour and formula, and it’s really easy to paint on and clean up. The perfect summer polish!

I used top coat over these swatches, for a smooth finish and to make them extra glossy.  My skin looks a little odd, but the polish is colour accurate.

I had to add some nail art to this to match the bottle!  Some white stamping was called for, and although I don’t have an exact match, this MoYou London design works really well.

White stamping polish is always easy to clean up, and by only stamping on a couple of feature nails it makes this a quick design.

No questions, this is my perfect summer polish! Easy to paint and clean up, no staining, bright and sparkly.  What’s not to love! Solo Nails did a great job with this collaboration polish.
