Native War Paints The One With The… Friends Inspired
I got so excited when I saw this polish was available through Rainbow Connection. It’s full of glitters that change colour depending on the angle you see them from. This is my first polish from this brand, and it’s inspired by Friends. Native War Paints The One With The… is a beautiful polish.
The polish is a charcoal jelly filled with colour-changing glitters (think flakies) and holographic dust. It is super sheer though. Had I realised earlier I would have started with a dark base. You all know how much I hate Visible Nail Line and this took four coats to get opaque. It ended up way too thick so I won’t be doing that again!
The glitters are a couple of different sizes, in a kind of soft hex shape. They aren’t a really obvious hex, and look almost like circle glitters sometimes. You can see red-orange, then yellow and gold, through to green as you change the angle. SO HARD to capture in a photo, but you get a sense in the macro. My video bottle porn shows it off best though and you totally get this effect on your nails. I kept talking to people and they were distracted by my nails – so funny!

I’m in love with this macro photo, you can see a range of colours and the holographic dust too. Although it was a pain, doing four coats means I got this depth into my nails, because of the glitter suspended in the jelly. I wouldn’t have got that with one coat over black.
So this polish is fab and so my question for you today is… what’s your favourite Friends episode? Let me know in the comments!

What a cool color! It’s a stunner for sure. I hate doing four coats, but it definitely gives it serious depth that makes it that much more gorgeous.

Thanks Nikki!! Yeah, I probably won’t do four coats again, but it definitely looks great. Tended to chip more easily because it ended up so thick though.

I am a huge fan of holographic nails and this looks incredible. I can’t believe how patient you must have been to do four coats wow x

Yeah, once I’d started there was no going back! 😉
