In case you missed it, I’ve had a really good blogging week, and I wanted to share some of my most read posts this week. There’s something for everyone, whether you’re a nail newbie or a nail polish addict.
3 secrets nail artists know
I really wanted to share some of the simple things I do to make my manicures look their best. Clean up is the first one, it makes a huge difference. If you want to make your nails look like they’ve been done in a salon rather than at home, go learn the 3 secrets nail artists know!
5 easy nail art designs
Now you’ve got my top tips for making your nails look great, try one of these easy designs that are sure to impress. A big fan of unicorns? Candyfloss shades and glitter make the perfect summer design. Rich, chic nails more your style? The matte navy blue is perfect. One of my 5 easy nail art designs is sure to suit.
Purple Mojave Turquoise
I’m feeling so inspired by natural designs like turquoise right now that my Pinterest board is filling up with them. I can’t decide what to choose next. If you haven’t seen how I created my purple mojave turquoise nails yet, definitely have a read.
Chanel Spring 2017 Swatches
Really popular right now are my Chanel spring swatches. They aren’t the first colours that I think of for spring, but I love the grey and the red really pops!
Best of the rest!
I’ve picked a few of my favourite posts that are talking nails this week. I’m starting to feel ready for summer, and that’s definitely reflected in my picks!
Vampy Varnish Pretty Serious trio swatches
I LOVE this trio, particularly the turquoise from the Bad Reputation trio. It’s called Stupid Cupid, and I would totally wear this all summer. Kelly also has the lowdown on an amazing sale that Pretty Serious have got going on right now.
WAH London show us how to create Rose Quartz nails with just polish
A nail polish art video that really ties in with my love for semi-precious stones from WAH Nails. If you haven’t heart of this brand, they do manicures and nail art in London, and have their own brand of polish.
Betty’s Beauty Bombs Teal & Red
The colour combination is one I haven’t tried and it’s phenomenal! So modern and cool, the teal stamping polish really pops over the watermelon red. Head over to see Betty’s post if you want really unique colours on your nails.
Talonted Lex with Essie neon swatches
Lex has some new neon polishes swatched – I don’t know about you, but neons are definitely summer polishes for me. She’s also testing their white base coat (pro tip: always use a white base under neons), which I’ve picked up too. I’m excited to try it out!
