Recently Born Pretty Store sent me some items for review*, which are spread over a few posts including this one.

The water decals I have used before are normally individual designs which you place on your nail.  This item is a bit different because it is one large design, but it gives you more flexibility for use.  I cut out narrow triangles, but with a craft stamp or scissors you could do any design you wanted, or even a full nail.

I cut a strip off one side of the design the length of my nails, then cut across to make 10 isoceles triangles. I soaked each piece in warm water for about 15 seconds and then placed them on my nails.  I cut some a little too long and had to trim them down a bit once they were on, but that degraded the design a bit so I added the narrow silver French tip to finish them more neatly.

The decal design is slightly sheer, so you do need a base colour in my opinion, but the white I used made the colours pop. I do recommend these and there are some great designs to choose from – use my code below for 10% discount! Click the discount banner below to go straight to this product.
