Last weekend I went to London for two of the three days of Stylist Live. Unintentionally, I matched my nails to the show design at Olympia, with these Chevron Nails. I’ll share some images from the show, along with my nail art, so keep on reading and scrolling!
A quick and easy nail art design for you this week. I’m short on time, but ready for Autumn! I think this is my favourite orange polish (out of the 20+ I own), and although I’m not quite ready for Halloween nails, I’m on board with Fall nail art.
I was a bit stumped for a design to try this week, and then I remembered that I'd bought a new plate with butterfly wing outlines on it that was so far untried. I decided to recreate some Monarch Butterfly nail art using some orange holo polishes.
To match the hot weather we’ve been having lately, I think this Coral Ombré design is perfect. It’s got a sunbleached look to it, that with the neon makes a perfect summer holiday manicure.
I haven’t done a splatter design for ages, but I wanted to try something a bit different. This Gradient Splatter nail art is stamped rather than sprayed, so clean up is a lot quicker and easier!

After my woeful attempt at watermarbling with my pastel neons (you can click on that if you want to feel better about your own skills) I decided that I needed some neon polishes that were suitable for the job. I shopped around, and with the able assistance of my US-based polish mule, I got my digits on the Fun Days and Neon Craze collection from In The Name of Polish. I had to start with a Neon Watermarble Starburst to test them out.
I had a bit of a mani disaster and needed something easy to cover my nails with. I’d already started with a white base so I decided to use a set of Peacock Feather water decals from Milv. I picked these up at the Professional Beauty show in London earlier this year. Read More
I wanted to make the most of the blacklights I knew I’d be under this weekend, so I brought out the Orly Neon Gradient. These glow beautifully when exposed to UV light! Read More
