I feel like I’ve really lost my nail art mojo lately. My full-time job is taking a lot out of me at the moment and I think there’s no space left for creativity. Or energy left at the end of the day. I came up with this gradient stamping design because I wanted something with a little more interest than a straightforward stamped mani, which has kind of been my default lately.
It’s still quite simple and quick, and the gold flakes in the base colour show through delightfully.
I am really feeling all the green shades at the moment, so I didn’t really need the excuse of St Patrick’s Day for this design. I was reminded about this super bright green holo polish I had, and added a little stamping to make this St Patrick’s Day nail art.

Who’s ready for spring? I certainly am, I can’t wait to leave the cold weather and never-ending rain behind. This design brings all the colours of spring together, with its double-stamped leaf pattern. I was so happy with how this turned out, and I took so many photos… This is a really image-heavy post, but be patient so you can see all the gorgeousness of this Leafy Green Nail Art.
I got so excited when I saw this polish was available through Rainbow Connection. It’s full of glitters that change colour depending on the angle you see them from. This is my first polish from this brand, and it’s inspired by Friends. Native War Paints The One With The… is a beautiful polish.
This is FUN Lacquer Ursa Major named after a constellation also known as The Plough or The Big Dipper. I had the chance recently to do a maniswap with TaliaLouise on Instagram. This Neon Love nail art design is from way back (and much copied) and it’s a great design. It was also what inspired me to go looking for a new, true neon blue polish. Read More
I’m a bit off-season, since everyone is into Halloween nails right now! This was a prompt for Nail Art Nation, and I wanted to hit all the Miami highlights. I brought out some soft neon shades into a gradient for Sunset Palms Nail Art. Read More
Last week’s challenge on NAN was half moons. I was having a bit of a block with nail art generally, and decided on this design the day after the prompt was posted. I quite liked how it turned out. But then forgot to post it, for so long in fact that the next prompt had already gone up. Doh! But if you are looking for a quick and easy way to create some Half Moon nail art, this is perfect. After my woeful attempt at watermarbling with my pastel neons (you can click on that if you want to feel better about your own skills) I decided that I needed some neon polishes that were suitable for the job. I shopped around, and with the able assistance of my US-based polish mule, I got my digits on the Fun Days and Neon Craze collection from In The Name of Polish. I had to start with a Neon Watermarble Starburst to test them out.
This week’s prompt on Nail Art Nation was waterfall nails. Fabiana did a great design on a beige base which you can find here. I always like to be a bit different, so I decided to start with a black base and create some Holographic Waterfall Nail Art. Read More
